Performance news from Argentina's first low cost airline

Buenos Aires, May 15, 2018. - Flybondi.com, the first low-cost airline in Argentina, ends its first quarter with more than 130,000 passengers transported, among which 20,000 people flew for the first time in their lives, 4 aircraft, more than 1000 flights made and more than 400 employees. By the end of April, Flybondi.com had already managed to keep 5% of the Argentinean aviation market.

After the start of its operations at the end of January 2018, in the first quarter the new airline began to consolidate its service that already has 12 operational routes: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán, Neuquén, Bariloche, Corrientes, Jujuy and Iguazú and soon will be added the routes to Posadas (15/05), Bahía Blanca (30/05), Salta (15/06) and Santiago del Estero (02/07).

With respect to its fleet plan, today already has 4 operational aircraft and the next 2 are expected for the next months. Also recently, the company finalized the leasing agreement for the arrival of its 7th. aircraft. In this way we continue to advance in the planning that will aim to end the year 2018 with 10 aircraft.

With each new destination, Flybondi.com generates direct and indirect employment both in the city where it flies and in the states. The company employs more than 400 people throughout the country, and new jobs are generated weekly. But the social and economic impact in each place where it´s installed is direct and also indirect: for every million passengers that fly, 2500 indirect jobs are created, approximately. The 5-year plan seeks to double the national aviation market, transporting 10 million passengers, creating 1,500 direct and 20,000 indirect jobs.
