Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, recently launched a new codeshare agreement with Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, which sees the airlines’ combined frequencies between Bahrain and Muscat at 6 daily flights.
This new codeshare provides customers enhanced flight connectivity possibilities with Oman Air to various destinations across both carries networks.

Through this code share, Oman Air offers its guests a combined frequency of six daily flights. Our guests can also benefit from a range of destinations connected through this code-share by both the airlines, providing them with greater choice, convenience and a seamless travel experience."

Oman Air currently serves up to 55 destinations worldwide. The carrier operates direct international flights from Muscat to GCC region as well as Middle East & Africa region. In addition, Oman Air flies to many destinations in the Indian Sub-Continent, Far and South East Asia and Europe and has codeshare agreements with a number of airline partners offering guests better connectivity and increased choice. Oman Air’s fleet consists 47 aircraft. By 2023, Oman Air’s total fleet size is expected to be around 70. Bahrain’s national carrier currently serves 42 cities in 25 countries, spanning three continents – including Tbilisi, Georgia which was launched on 22nd June 2017. The airline operates double daily or more flights to 10 regional cities, in addition to select destinations in the Indian Subcontinent and Europe, from its hub at Bahrain International Airport.
