OAG , the world's leading provider of travel data and insights, has partnered with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to provide planning and reference data through its new cloud platform. As part of the enhanced partnership between the two airline leaders, OAG will also provide IATA with a modified version of its industry-leading Analyzer tool that will be offered in the future as part of a bundle in addition to Airport IS and other existing tools.

Built on the Snowflake cloud platform, the delivery of reference and schedule data provides customers with the richest and most current version of schedule data available in the market.

" The ongoing impact of COVID-19 on traffic volatility has made it critical to strengthen our products with the most current data available," said Charles de Gheldere, Director Aviation Data at IATA. “ Our enhanced partnership with OAG provides our airport customers with new and accurate data and a highly innovative, modern and flexible cloud-based platform. The combined IATA and OAG offerings enable airports to operate more intelligently and efficiently as they navigate one of the most unpredictable times in our industry's history. ”

Phil Callow, CEO, OAG, added, “ Our high-performance, flexible and creative technology allows us to adapt to the ongoing market volatility by delivering the optimal version of our data directly to our customers. Our deeper partnership with IATA and investment in our new cloud platform are the final steps in our ongoing journey to provide the industry with the best data and technology. ”

The multi-year partnership officially entered into force on January 1, 2021, marking the beginning of an evolving relationship with the two organizations.
