Nayak Aircraft Services is proud to announce that as of the 15th of October 2022, the group corporate officers are installed as following: Marco Smit has taken on the position of CEO and Dr Boris Liffers, PhD, the position of CFO.
Marco Smit has dedicated almost 2 decades to work on Nayak’s growth, and he couldn’t be prouder to now take on the position of CEO. With a heart for aviation and a mind for the MRO industry, he strongly believes that Nayaks core values which include flexibility, reliability, and excellent customer-service as well as a team that works together with a “family” feeling. These elements will support Nayak in the future and help it grow to even greater heights.

Dr Boris Liffers joined Nayak at the end of 2017 as a restructuring specialist. He managed the merger with the former Air Berlin Technik and initially directed the restructuring process and the strategic repositioning of Nayak as CRO. In the following years, he will be responsible for the areas of finance, IT and legal.
Says Dr Liffers, "It was impressive to see the eloquence with which current management team drove the restructuring forward. Despite significant setbacks during the Corona period, everyone worked together and led Nayak into this growth."
Nayaks team has shown exponential growth over the last few years and currently holds strong as Europe’s largest airline independent MRO service provider. Currently, Nayak offers its services in 16 countries and 50 stations across Europe, offering assistance in both line maintenance and base maintenance. With main bases in Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Milan, Rome and Barcelona, as well as a vast network of line maintenance stations, Nayak is able to provide quick, and reliable service whenever and wherever you are.
