Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to lease seven new E190 aircraft to HOP!. The placement of the seven new aircraft are from NAC’s existing Embraer order book, the first of which is expected to deliver to HOP this month.
“We are delighted to further extend our long existing commercial relationship with HOP! on the placement of seven additional new aircraft. We endorse HOP! for their strong leadership in regional aviation and look forward to continuously doing our best to support our valued customer for many more years to come” said Martin Møller, Chairman of NAC.
“HOP! is glad to reaffirm its long-term and trustful relationship with Embraer and NAC, by finding solutions to support its industrial project. These additional seven E-Jets will bring the total HOP! E-Jet fleet to 32 (81 E-Jets in total for the Air France KLM group, biggest European operator). HOP! remains committed to delivering the best product to its customer on the regional network”, said Hélène Abraham, Sales, Marketing and Products Director for HOP!.”
“This agreement is a further consolidation of our strong relationship with HOP! and NAC, and will bring HOP!’s total Embraer fleet to 47 aircraft (32 E-Jets and 15 ERJ145s). It also marks further progress on converting Letters of Intent announced at Farnborough to firm purchase agreements - three of the seven aircraft being placed by NAC in this deal were announced this week as firm orders,” said Martyn Holmes, VP Europe, Russia and Central Asia, Embraer Commercial Aviation.
