MONTE is delighted to announce that it has completed the financing of one DHC-6-200 HG aircraft with Soneva Holdings, a luxury resort operator in the Maldives. The aircraft will operate routes from the capital Malé to Soneva’s resorts in the Maldives.

This is the second aircraft that MONTE have financed for Soneva Holdings, and we look forward to continuing to support their operations in the Maldives. This transaction also builds on the aircraft retrofit MOU that MONTE signed with Soneva earlier this year. Under this agreement, MONTE is working with Soneva identify the most suitable low / zero emission propulsion technology for their operations and support Soneva’s decarbonisation goals.
