(Luton, UK – 5 December 2017) - Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), celebrating 50 years as a leading MRO, has signed a new long term line maintenance technical handling agreement with Wizz Air, underlining their position as Line Maintenance Provider of the Year 2017.

The new contract will support the rapid fleet growth of the airline at London Luton Airport and covers a full suite of line maintenance services to support the operator’s extended flying programme in summer 2018 and beyond.

The airline is rapidly growing with seven aircraft being based at Luton by next summer and we are proud to announce that we will be carrying out the line maintenance.

“WIZZ is a highly valued customer and the new Luton line maintenance contract strengthens this important relationship. As well as the Luton growth, our maintenance work in Kiev, Ukraine will also increase in 2018 when an additional aircraft and new routes will be added to WIZZ’s network.
