Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), celebrating 50 years as a leading MRO, has signed a new base maintenance agreement with La Compagnie.

The French airline is a returning customer for MAEL who will carry out a C check in its Luton hangar. The heavy maintenance on a Boeing 757 will start in February 2018.

"Monarch Aircraft Engineering has carried out heavy maintenance work for us in the past and we were very impressed with their expertise. We look forward to working again with them in the new year when they service our Boeing 757," - Yann Poudoulec, EVP Technical at La Compagnie

Neil Kirby, Sales Manager at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said: “We are very happy to welcome La Compagnie back into our Luton facility. This is a great contract win to end the year with and means that our winter capacity is now almost at a maximum.”
