Mikhail Poluboyarinov elected as CEO of Aeroflot
20 November 2020, Moscow. — The Board of Directors of PJSC Aeroflot (MOEX ticker: AFLT) has elected Mikhail Poluboyarinov as CEO. The Board of Directors meeting was held on 20 November 2020 with absentee voting. Mikhail Poluboyarinov has entered office.
Prior to his election as CEO of PJSC Aeroflot Mikhail Poluboyarinov held the position of CEO of State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). Since 2017, he has been a member of PJSC Aeroflot’s Board of Directors. He has many years of work experience in executive-level positions including financial management of the Company.
The Board of Directors decided to early terminate the powers of PJSC Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev following his appointment as Minister of Transport on 10 November 2020 by a decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Vitaly Saveliev has been elected Chairman of Board of Directors of PJSC Aeroflot by the resolution of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors approved the corresponding changes to the composition of PJSC Aeroflot’s Management Board.
