Michael Knoth (46) will become the new Managing Director of the Cologne-based WDL Aviation on 1 October 2019.
The trained lawyer, tax consultant and auditor Knoth can look back on a long career in the aviation industry. In recent years, he has worked as commercial manager for the airlines Eurowings and Germanwings, which belong to the Lufthansa Group. Most recently, he also served as CFO of the Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW), a regional airline recently acquired by Zeitfracht Group.

In recent years, the Zeitfracht Group has grown strongly as a result of acquisitions in the aviation sector. In addition to the charter airline WDL Aviation based in Cologne, the Berlin logistics company also took over LGW, based at Dortmund Airport.
