Manta Air: Temporary Route Suspension & Schedule Changes Due to COVID-19
Manta Air confirms the immediate temporary route suspensions and schedule changes due to the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions.
This action comes in light of the rapidly growing global COVID 19 pandemic and its effects on the domestic aviation industry. Due to these impacts and the resulting actions carried out in the fight to combat the spread of the virus, there has been a significant decline in demand across all domestic routes with an increasing number of cancellations of bookings.
After a careful consideration of the situation and given the foreseeable financial impact, all flights to Kooddoo (GKK) airport will be temporarily suspended effective from 29 March 2020 while flights to Dharavandhoo (DRV) and Dhaalu (DDD) airport will be reduced with immediate effect.
For customers planning to travel with us during this time, we advise to check our website for all the latest updates. During this period, we have also established a flexible policy in adjusting travel dates and/or cancellations.
We at Manta Air remain unwavering in its commitment to stand together with our community and relevant authorities at this time to recover from this unprecedented turn of events. We would like to thank all our customers who have continued to support us, and we hope you will continue to fly with us when the time is right.
