Malindo Air Introduces New Routes To Labuan And From Singapore To Kota Kinabalu

Petaling Jaya,19 July 2018 – Malindo Air has announced its new services from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan and Kota Kinabalu to Singapore in August 2018, as part of the airline’s continuous effort to expand its network in the region. Bookings are now open with promotional fare offered for these new services on Malindo Air website www.malindoair.com, ticketing offices, customer care center and our preferred travel agents.

Flights OD1900 from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan will commence from 2 August and it is scheduled to depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 12:30p.m. The 2 hours and 30 minutes flight will arrive at Labuan at 3:00p.m. Flight OD1901 will then depart at 3:45p.m. and arrives in KLIA at 6:15p.m. The seats are available from RM229 for Economy Class and RM449 for Business Class.

The service from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore, on the other hand, will begin from 10 August. Flight OD830 will depart from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) at 9:15a.m. and will arrive at 11:40a.m. The flight from Changi Airport, OD831, will depart at 12:40p.m. and arrive in KKIA at 3:05p.m. The promotional fare starts from RM249 for Economy Class and RM599 for Business Class.

Chandran Rama Muthy, CEO of Malindo Air said, “In our continuous effort to connect our passengers through Malindo Air’s growing network, we are introducing flights from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan and from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore.”

“These routes are popular for both trade and leisure travelers and we would like to provide a premium option to the market, while promoting more traffic to visit Malaysia. The 2 hours and 30 minutes journey will be a pleasant one with comfortable legroom, snacks onboard as well as baggage allowance that give you peace of mind when you travel with us,” he added.

The promotional fares include 25kg (Economy Class) and 40kg (Business Class) baggage allowance, meal onboard and spacious legroom. The narrow-body Boeing 737NG aircraft, comprising of 12 Business Class and 150 Economy Class seats, will be deployed on these new routes.
