Lufthansa Technik AG and Asiana Airlines from South Korea have signed
a new, long-term agreement for Total Component Maintenance (TCM). The
contract has a term of ten years starting in April 2018 and covers
the nine aircraft in Asiana's Boeing 777-200ER fleet. Component
repairs will take place at Lufthansa Technik's workshops in Hamburg.

E-Bae Kim, Executive Vice President Corporate Support at Asiana
Airlines, said "We are convinced about Lufthansa Technik's
customer-aimed support which already proved its value throughout our
long-term partnership. With firm belief of that we have selected
Lufthansa Technik as the strategic partner for our 777 components
maintenance."

Gerald Steinhoff, Vice President Corporate Sales Asia Pacific at
Lufthansa Technik, adds: "This new agreement further strengthens the
long-standing, trustful cooperation between Asiana Airlines and us."

Lufthansa Technik also helps its customer Asiana Airlines build up
additional component repair capacities at its headquarters in the
South Korean capital of Seoul. The necessary exchanges of information
and initial events like training courses have already begun.

Lufthansa Technik and Asiana Airlines have been working together for
more than 25 years. Besides the new agreement on component
maintenance for the Boeing 777-200ER fleet, Lufthansa Technik also
provides an integrated Total Component Support (TCS®) for Asiana's
Airbus A320, A330 and A350 fleets as well as V2500 and CF6 engine
support and heavy maintenance for Asiana's Airbus A380 fleet.
