Kuwait Airways B747-400 sold to AELS

Skytech-AIC is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of one Boeing 747-400, msn 27338, to AELS in the Netherlands. Skytech-AIC acted on behalf of the aircraft owner, Kuwait Airways, as Marketing Agent for the transaction which included the 747-400, a Combi aircraft delivered new by Boeing to Kuwait Airways in November 1994, a spare CF6-80C2B1F engine and a spare APU. The aircraft is to be disassembled and dismantled by AELS.

Kuwait Airways, which recently celebrated its 65th anniversary, is the national airline of Kuwait and operates a fleet of Airbus A320, A330 and Boeing 777- 300ER aircraft. The average age of the current fleet is less than seven years and the airline also has new A320 NEOs, A350-900s and A330-800s on order.

AELS buys aircraft and sells aircraft components for all types of aircraft. AELS is a fully accredited by AFRA (Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association) for dismantling and recycling aircraft and holds ASA-100 accreditation for component management.
