JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), one of the world’s leading global specialty risk advisors and brokers, is pleased to announce key leadership appointments in JLT’s Aerospace Practice in North America.
With centers of excellence in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America, JLT’s Aerospace Practice includes more than 250 dedicated specialists and addresses the full spectrum of aerospace risks, providing services to all segments of the Aerospace & Aviation industry. JLT represents nearly a third of airlines worldwide.
The appointments include elevating Phil Gingell to the Executive Chairman role who most recently served as President of the JLT’s Aerospace Practice in North America based out of Chicago. Jason Klevens, who joined the organization in May of 2016, is also being promoted to President at JLT Specialty USA, Aerospace Practice and will remain in the Atlanta office.
JLT’s Aerospace practice is further widening their specialty focus and global practice with two additional appointments. Those leadership roles include the following:
Steve Lloyd, Chief Executive Officer
Steve Alexandris, Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Steve Lloyd has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at JLT Specialty USA, Aerospace Practice. He will relocate from London and be based in Chicago. Lloyd joined JLT in 2013 and most recently served as a Partner and a member of the Executive Committee for JLT Aerospace in London. Prior to joining JLT, Lloyd was an Executive Managing Director, Airline Practice Leader and a member of the Aviation and Aerospace Practice Executive and Management Group at Marsh.
Steve Alexandris has joined JLT to assume the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at JLT Specialty USA, Aerospace Practice. Alexandris has more than 20 years of aerospace & aviation industry experience, having held senior leadership and management roles and in both underwriting and broking. Most recently he was Regional Executive, Aerospace – Americas at AIG and he was a member of the Aviation Global Executive Committee. Alexandris remains based in Atlanta.
