In November 2019, Japan Airlines (JAL) announced details on its network expansion plans at Tokyo`s metropolitan airports. Today, JAL released the flight schedules for select routes between Japan and China, including the new Haneda=Dalian and Shanghai routes, as well as a schedule change on its current Narita=Dalian service, effective March 29, 2020.

Dalian Service Highlight (Haneda and Narita)
Once the flight launches in March 2020, JAL will be the only carrier operating the Dalian route via Haneda airport. In addition, the carrier will feature a second daily flight via Narita airport with an updated schedule as detailed in the table below. JAL will feature a morning flight from Haneda and an evening flight from Narita, allowing customers to select flights that match their daily schedules.

Shanghai Pudong Service Highlight (Haneda)
Currently, JAL`s network from Tokyo features three daily flights between Narita=Shanghai Pudong, as well as one daily flight via Haneda airport. On March 29, the carrier will add a second daily flight between Haneda=Shanghai Pudong, making it five daily flights via the two airports in Tokyo. And, JAL will continue to feature one daily flight between Haneda=Shanghai Hongqiao airport.

Through the expansion of JAL`s international network in China, the carrier will act as a bridge to bring people and their cultures closer together, while contributing to the further development and economic growth in both countries.

The following plans and schedules are based on the approvals from the relevant authorities.
