As part of the cooperation on MC-21 project development, a contract has been signed by the Russian Irkut Corporation and the French Safran Group at the Paris Air Show. Safran Ventilation Systems has been selected by Irkut Corporation to provide complete ventilation system package to the new Russian civil single aisle aircraft MC-21. The full fans package is composed of eight equipments to ensure cabin air and avionic bay cooling functions. The contract covers development, qualification, serial production supply and aftersales activities. It has been signed by Philippe Petitcolin, Safran Chief Executive Officer, and Oleg Demchenko, Irkut Corporation President.
