Interjet eyes partnerships with an international airline
Interjet CEO Miguel Aleman Magnani does not rule out adding a new partner, preferably an international airline. The move would not be the first time Interjet was interested in a partner. In October 2016, the carrier was in talks with United Continental and American Airlines with the intention to sell a stake of the company to and establish a strategic alliance.
Interjet plans to explore any partner that allows the airline to meet its growth plans, thus opening the door to an equity partner.
"Honestly, we have not made that decision, you first have to see who the party guests are and then welcome them the table", says the chief executive.
