MEXICO CITY, March 23, 2020 Interjet Airlines confirmed today, it is suspending all international passenger flights for the foreseeable future, effective March 24 and until March 31, 2020, subject to regulatory restrictions imposed by each country and the demand for each flight. and until in its effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Interjet’s decision to end international flights followed the announcement that the U.S. will close its borders with Mexico as well as significant reductions in air travel to and from the airline’s other international destinations it serves.
