Calypte Holding Pte Ltd, based on Singapore, has officially registered a new subsidiary named PT Indonesia Airlines Group, which will be based at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport, focusing only on international flights.

Business planning and feasibility studies are underway, with plans to operate 20 aircraft acquired in stages. Half of the aircraft will be made up of A321LR or A321neo, while the other ten will consist of A350-900 and B787-9.

The planned airline aims to operate as a premium airline, serving 48 international destinations to 30 countries in the first five years.

Recruitment of staff is underway.
