In October, the subsidiary companies of Avianca Holdings S.A. (NYSE: AVH) (BVC: PFAVH) (*) transported 1,908,793 passengers, a decrease of 25.0% compared to October 2016. Capacity, measured in ASKs (available seat kilometers), decreased 15.3%, while passenger traffic, measured in RPKs (revenue passenger kilometers), contracted 14.8%. The load factor for the month was 84.5%, an increase of 45 bps compared to the same period of 2016.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador
In October, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within each of these markets a total of 981,264 travelers, down 35.3% compared to same period of 2016. Capacity (ASKs) decreased 37.1% and passenger traffic (RPKs) decreased 32.0% compared to October 2016. The load factor for the month was 88.2%, an increase of 663 bps compared to the same month of 2016.

International markets
In October, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 927,529 passengers on international routes, down 10.0% compared to same period of 2016. Capacity (ASKs) decreased 9.6%, while passenger traffic (RPKs) went down 10.5%. The load factor for the month was 83.8%, a decrease of 88 bps when compared to October 2016.
