IBA consolidates its presence in North America with new office and expands its global remit from East to West
London / Dublin / Tokyo/ Los Angeles - November 21st 2019: IBA Group, the specialist aviation consultancy, has established a representative office in California. The move is a further example of IBA’s ongoing commitment and growing presence in North America, and an example of the continued popularity and demand for aviation investment in the region. Phil Seymour, CEO of IBA, is pleased to welcome Claudio Salazar who joins as Regional Sales Manager, Americas.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of our US office, which will build on our strategic plan for increased growth in North America through a local presence, and to welcome Claudio to our team” says Seymour. “Our focus will initially be on promoting our data intelligence platform IBA.iQ, as well as our asset management, valuation, advisory and technical inspection services. Claudio’s experience within the aviation sector will certainly facilitate this move for IBA and we look forward to further expanding our remit throughout the Americas.”
Salazar will be responsible for heading commercial business development. His primary focus will be strategic market development of IBA’s digital and data services in North & South America, as well as facilitating growth across IBA’s asset management, appraisal & advisory services divisions.
He joins from aviation and analytics firm CIRIUM, where he spent over six years as a member of the Americas senior sales team with roles in business development across their core product and bespoke aviation advisory services portfolio. With a background in the aviation leasing and consultancy sector, as well as work with airlines and airports, travel technology companies and OEMs, Salazar further benefits from fourteen years of sales and business development experience, seven of which have been in the aviation industry, and holds a B.A. in Geopolitical History from the City University of New York (CUNY). Former commercial roles include positions at Coca Cola Enterprises, Euromoney, Money-Media (FT), and Business Monitor Research (Fitch Solutions).
