Caribbean Airlines, the Trinidad government, and Hainan Airlines Group recently met to discuss cooperation, including air travel, aircraft leasing and finance, and other areas.

The two sides will also explore a codeshare deal as part of a bilateral agreement, as well as adding flights from China to the Caribbean route network.

A timeline on the deal was not disclosed.
