Hi Fly takes on another two Airbus A340-300
Hi Fly is bolstering its Airbus fleet with the introduction of two A340-300 aircraft, a model which has presented great acceptance and high demand.
The pair of four-engine aircraft is in every way similar to the other two A340-300 aircraft the company already operated (CS-TQY and CS-TQZ). Both additional aircraft accommodate 267 passengers and are configured with three classes – first (12 pax), business (42 pax) and economy (213 pax).
The new acquisitions, registrations 9H-JAI and 9H-FOX, will soon be introduced into service and are already under contracts for summer operations.
The Airbus A340-300 model is very much appreciated by those in need for long-haul operations due to its outstanding range capability. Also noteworthy is the model’s ‘hot and high’ capability at airports that would be off-limits to other aircraft.
Hi Fly is an EU - OPS carrier, FAA approved, EASA and IOSA certified. The Group it belongs to, chaired by Paulo Mirpuri, owns 20 aircraft, and half of them are operated by Hi Fly: A330´s and A340´s, exclusively available for wet lease worldwide. Wet leasing (supply of aircraft with crew, maintenance and insurance) is Hi Fly core and sole business, therefore unmatched operational expertise in this very specific field has been developed over several years of experience.
