Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has re-elected London partner Giles Kavanagh as the head of its global aerospace practice and a member of the firm's Management Board.

HFW has also promoted Singapore-based aviation claims and insurance specialist Terence Liew as one of nine new partners, spanning offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific and all six of the firm's global industry groups: aerospace, commodities, construction, energy, insurance and shipping. Terence was recently named by Singapore Business Review as one of the country's 20 most influential lawyers under the age of 40.

HFW's market-leading aerospace practice now comprises 22 partners and almost 90 lawyers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The team have unrivalled experience of complex litigation, claims, finance and leasing, regulation of all kinds and commercial transactions.

HFW has also elected new heads of its global commodities, construction, energy and shipping practices, and re-elected the head of its insurance practice.

This follows HFW's election of a new global management team, with Jeremy Shebson elected as the firm's new Managing Partner and Richard Crump re-elected for a fifth term as Global Senior Partner.
