HAECO Line Services in Mainland China is managed by HAECO Xiamen.
In 1998, HAECO Xiamen opened its first line station in Xiamen, Mainland China. HAECO Line Services has been expanding its Mainland network steadily over the past two decades. This division has built its reputation on long-standing relationships with international carriers in the MRO operation in Xiamen, as well as HAECO Group’s solid experience providing line support to airlines in Hong Kong. Today, HAECO Xiamen is one of the leading line services providers serving foreign carriers at key line stations on the Mainland including Beijing and Shanghai.
China is one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world. This has resulted in significant growth in international services to and from China and HAECO Xiamen is well positioned to support this growth. HAECO Xiamen is a six-widebody-hangar facility employing 4,500 staff with a reputation for operational excellence. HAECO Xiamen also runs a technical training and licence examination centre, dedicated to developing mechanics and engineers to meet the market needs in Mainland China and Asia.
“HAECO Xiamen’s experienced technical personnel and the range of capabilities including extensive licence coverage for different aviation authorities and aircraft types differentiated it from other industry players. We are proud to have built a reputation amongst our customers for quality, reliability and can-do spirit,” said Betty Huang, Commercial Manager of HAECO Line Services in Mainland China.
HAECO has also focused on developing its capabilities during the course of its line station expansion. Since October 2014, HAECO Line Services has been providing Boeing 787 line support to a range of customers in Mainland China. It has also planned the provision of Airbus A350, A320NEO and Boeing 737MAX services during 2017 to meet customer demand. In addition to standard maintenance up to A-check, HAECO Line Services has developed capabilities to provide new services including cabin reliability checks, aircraft washing and IFE maintenance.
Summit Chan, CEO of HAECO Xiamen, said: “We are grateful to our international customer base for supporting the expansion of this business unit with their continued loyalty and trust. We are grateful also to our dedicated team for their professionalism and dedication during the period of expansion.
