Moscow, Republic of Russia - 12 April 2019: H.E Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism and Chairman to the Board of Directors at Gulf Air heads a delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain to meet with the Bahraini-Russian Intergovernmental Commission to explore possibilities of trade, economic, scientific and technological opportunities.

During the official visit in Moscow, HE Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism and Chairman to the Board of Directors at Gulf Air, met with Mr. Vitaly Saveliev, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al-Saati, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Russian federation, Mr. Dharminder Hunjan, Director of Network and Partnerships at Gulf Air and the members of Bahraini economic delegation.

A number of vital issues were discussed during the meeting, related to the aviation sector. The most prominent of them being the effect of passenger transport and air freight to our economy. Both parties stressed the importance in the continuation of such discussions and visits to promote mutual cooperation taking this opportunity to exchange both experiences and information, as well as coordination in all matters related to common goals, visions and joint strategies between the two sides.
