State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) filed two lawsuits in the Moscow Arbitration Court against IrAero, totaling US$12.0 million. The reasoning for the lawsuits was not disclosed, however a previous lawsuit suggests it is related to lease payments.

The Court is already considering a lawsuit submitted in January against IrAero, in the amount of US$4.5 million, in relation to a partial debt from lease payments on SSJ100 aircraft leased from GTLK.

IrAero filed a counterclaim in regards to the initial lawsuit, seeking $5.2 million. The preliminary hearing is set for 31 May 2018.

IrAero leased eight SSJ100s from GTLK in 2016-17, four new and four used.
