Gruenwald, 06th April 2023 – On 29th of March and 04th of April 2023, GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (GOAL) successfully sold five B737-900ER aircraft to the US based Sun Country Airlines. The aircraft with MSN 40069, 40070, 40071, 44424 and 44425 were a co-investment from KGAL’s APF 4 fund and OBIC (Oman Brunei Investment Company) since 2017. All aircraft are on lease to Oman Air and will be serviced by GOAL for the remaining lease term until 2024-2025. Sun Country Airlines plans to operate the aircraft in their own fleet post Oman Air lease.
