BERLIN – 23 August 2017 – In the light of current market changes, Germania is increasing its commitment to the German capital. Next summer the airline's green and white aircraft will be taking off not only from Berlin-Schönefeld, but also from Berlin-Tegel. In doing so, Germania is responding to enquiries from various tour operators and expanding its offering significantly by basing aircraft at Berlin-Tegel airport. The first increase in volume is due to take place for the coming winter schedule.

Travellers from Berlin can choose from a wide range of flights to the Canary Islands. Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote or Gran Canaria – the airline operates flights to all of these destinations. Furthermore, Germania flies to various Greek islands, including Crete, Corfu, Kos and Rhodes. As before, there will be flights to Ibiza next summer as well as a new route from Berlin-Tegel to Palma de Mallorca.

With flights to the Egyptian destinations of Hurghada and Marsa Alam, Germania takes holidaymakers to popular snorkelling and diving paradise. The flight programme also features Faro on Portugal's Atlantic coast and Funchal on Madeira for the first time. Germania will continue to operate its established routes to Burgas in Bulgaria, Tehran in Iran, Beirut in Lebanon, Paphos in Cyprus and Bodrum in Turkey. Antalya will be the latest addition to the flight programme 2018.
