23 September 2020: Genesis, the Dublin-based commercial aircraft leasing company, are pleased to announce the promotion of Peter O’Byrne to Senior Vice President of the newly formed Trading and Portfolio Services team. Peter will join the management team reporting into the CEO.

Commenting on the promotion Karl Griffin, CEO of Genesis said “I have worked together with Peter for 14 years and his excellent leadership, investment and technical experience provides him with a unique blend of skills to lead this team and make an even more significant contribution to Genesis in the coming years.

Bio:

Peter O’Byrne joined Genesis in 2018. As Vice President Commercial at Genesis, Peter has been responsible for Genesis’ European and Americas customers and markets including the origination of aircraft investments, portfolio remarketing and aircraft divestments. Peter has over 14 years’ experience in aircraft leasing. Prior to joining Genesis, Peter held various technical and trading roles at CIT Aerospace, AWAS and Sky leasing.
