GECAS Places Mega Order With Boeing

Lessor GECAS has placed a mega order with Boeing for the purchase of 75 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

GECAS adds more MAX aircraft

GECAS has ordered 75 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with a catalogue value of $8.25B. The deal follows after GECAS placed orders for the 737 MAX in 2012 and 2013 for a total of 95 aircraft.

With 645 orders GECAS is a long term customer of Boeing. The lessor manages an aircraft portfolio that includes over 1,950 aircraft including Boeing and Airbus wide and narrow body aircraft.
