CHANDLER, Ariz. - AvAir, an industry-leading inventory solutions provider for the aviation aftermarket, has expanded its management agreement with (GEAM) with an additional 20,000 line items bringing the total amount under management to over 90,000 components. The inventory management program now covers CF34 engine material in addition to the already managed inventories including CF6, GE90, and GEnx applications.

GE Aviation Materials, a wholly owned subsidiary of GE Aerospace, is a world-leading provider of used serviceable material and TrueChoice Transitions™ solutions: Green time Lease, custom work scopes, Engine/Module exchanges, consignment, lessor integration and portability products for GE Aerospace’s commercial engine programs. GE Aerospace has a global service network to support these offerings.

AvAir’s Chandler, Arizona-based facility will continue to manage the inventory that will now expand offerings to AvAir’s regional commercial operators and lessors of CF34 engines on aircraft including Embraer 170/190 and Bombardier CRJ700/900/1000.  It also will expand its support to AvAir’s business aviation customers who own/operate CF34-3 engines on various Bombardier Challenger aircraft.       

With this growing partnership, AvAir’s support of the GE MRO Network expands to add CF34 in addition to the established support offered on CF6, GE90, and GEnx aircraft.

This agreement and other recent asset management contracts support AvAir’s growth plan which includes evaluating additional strategic affiliations throughout the industry to continue to expand the company’s global offerings.
