GA Telesis’ Flight Solutions Group and Honeywell Aerospace Announce Consignment Partnership for Aircraft Components
January 12, 2022 - Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona – GA Telesis, LLC ("GAT") and Honeywell Aerospace have entered into a consignment partnership to provide global airlines with increased component availability and better access to parts through online portals. In addition, this new program will ensure that airlines will receive components repaired and certified with genuine OEM parts. This new partnership will be managed by GAT’s Flight Solutions Group (“FSG”) and bolstered by the Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) division of Honeywell Aerospace, through which the two will create a new evolution of consignment management.
“Airlines and OEMs are increasingly relying on GA Telesis to provide inventory solutions that cover the entire lifecycle of their inventory,” said Jason Reed, President of the Flight Solutions Group. “Our partnership with Honeywell Aerospace will create a path to maximize value for owners while also giving the greatest access to USM to meet airlines' inventory needs," added Reed.
HAT has been in the used serviceable material business for nearly twenty years. HAT provides pre-owned certified Honeywell parts to the global airline market. This partnership will allow Honeywell and GA Telesis to provide access to a larger supply of material to support our customer's requirements while focusing on the strength that each partner will bring to the program. Honeywell will continue to focus on Honeywell products in the partnership while using our global sales teams and the Go Direct Trade platform to support our customers.
“Our work with GA Telesis will maximize the strengths of both partners to provide a cost-effective solution to our customers. This is the end-to-end maintenance support solution that the global airline community needs in the current market,” said Brian Davis, Vice President, Honeywell Aerospace.
A leader in component asset management, GA Telesis has returned over $1B in cash to consignors since its consignment programs commenced. This newest revolutionary agreement provides additional significant value to the customer. This latest agreement, the fifth partnership agreement with Honeywell Aerospace in the last two years, further solidifies the relationship between these industry leaders.
