DENVER, CO – Low-fare carrier, Frontier Airlines and its flight attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), announced the ratification of a new five-year collective bargaining agreement today. Of the 88 percent of eligible flight attendants who voted, 94 percent cast ballots in favor of the agreement.

“We are pleased that our flight attendants have ratified this agreement,” said Jake Filene, Senior Vice President, Customers of Frontier Airlines. “I would like to thank our dedicated flight attendants, the AFA Master Executive Council, AFA and company negotiating committees, as well as recognize the dedicated work of the National Mediation Board in achieving this deal that provides our flight attendants with the pay, retirement and work rule improvements they deserve.”

Within the past two and a half years, Frontier has successfully negotiated new collective bargaining agreements with all seven of its union-represented employee groups.
