Frontier Airlines Announces Fifth Ratified Collective Bargaining Agreement in Less than Two Years
DENVER, CO – Low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines announced today that it has achieved its fifth collective bargaining agreement in less than two years through the ratification of a contract with The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 455 Airline Division, representing Maintenance Controllers. This is the maintenance controllers’ first contract at Frontier.
“We are pleased that our maintenance controllers have ratified this five-year agreement,” said Gary Appling, Vice President, Technical Operations, Frontier Airlines. “We would like to recognize the efforts of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the National Mediation Board in helping us come together on a deal that beneflts everyone and ensures security for the future.”
The other four collective bargaining agreements reached between Frontier and its represented employees are:
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Airline Division – Represented Aircraft Appearance Agents, contract ratified October 1, 2018
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Airline Division – Represented Material Specialists, contract ratified March 17, 2017
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Airline Division – Represented Aircraft Technicians, Ground Service Equipment Technicians and Tool Room Attendants, contract ratified February 17, 2017
The Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) – Represented Aircraft Dispatchers, contract ratified on December 8, 2016
