Low-cost carrier French Blue has commenced operations. The French carrier uses Paris-Orly Airport as their hub and offers long haul flights on a low-cost basis.

The airline was founded by Groupe Dubreuil, which also owns Air Caraïbes. Since July 2016 the airline performed some flights on behalf of Air Caraïbes. On the 10th of September it performed its inaugural flight to Punta Cana.
Paris Orly-Punta Cana currently is the airline’s only route, operated by a brand new Airbus A330–300. It seems that the airline also operates flights on behalf for Air Caraïbes between Santa Domingo and Paris with a stop in Port-au-Prince.
In the near future the airline wants to expand its fleet with a second Airbus A330–300 and 2 Airbus A350–900s.
