Dublin, January 10, 2022 – FPG Amentum Ltd. (‘FPG Amentum’), the Dublin- & Hong Kong-based aircraft leasing / management company announces changes to its Technical team.
The company’s Head of Technical, Rory Hensey, will leave the company during Q1/2022 to pursue other career opportunities. Mr Hensey has been with FPG Amentum for more than 11 years. In addition to his role as Head of Technical, Mr Hensey has been a member of the company’s senior management team and was part of the MBO team acquiring the company in 2012. FPG Amentum thanks Mr Hensey for his significant contributions and leadership and wish him well in his future endeavours.
As of 3 January, Steve Hogg-Maclean has joined FPG Amentum and is succeeding Mr Hensey as Head of Technical. Mr Hogg-Maclean is assuming global responsibility for FPG Amentum’s technical aircraft management, leading all technical asset management activities from asset acquisitions and trading to on-lease management, aircraft transitions and restructuring. Mr Hogg-Maclean will oversee the company’s technical team across its Dublin and Hongkong offices and be a member of the company’s senior management team.
Mr Hogg-Maclean joins FPG Amentum from AerCap, where he was Head of Engine Management. Prior to his 9 years at AerCap in Dublin and Amsterdam, Mr Hogg-Maclean was at Rolls-Royce in the UK, Hongkong, Singapore and Dubai for 12 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical & Mechanical Engineering from University of Wales and a master’s degree in Aerospace Propulsion from Cranfield University.
Further, as of 3 January, Donal Ward has joined FPG Amentum as SVP Technical. Mr Ward will be based at FPG Amentum’s Dublin-office covering a wide range of technical leasing activities such as aircraft new deliveries, transitions, LOI and lease negotiations.
Mr Ward joins FPG Amentum from CDB Aviation. Prior to that he was at Goshawk and BBAM, where he was based out of Dublin and Singapore. He has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Limerick.
