FlySafair has announced the addition of two new Boeing 737-400s to its fleet.
The first aircraft will enter FlySafair’s service on September 29, while the second aircraft will join the fleet during the course of next month.
“We are very excited to be expanding our fleet further. These new additions will see our fleet grow to 11 aircraft, officially making us the second biggest low-cost carrier in South Africa by fleet size,” says Kirby Gordon, Head of Sales Distribution at FlySafair.
The new aircraft will help fulfil the airline’s additional capacity requirements as it extends its network through the launch of flights between Durban and Port Elizabeth, and Durban and East London.
