Buenos Aires, November 23, 2022. – Only few days before the ninth aircraft arrives, Flybondi welcomes its tenth Boeing 737-800 NG with capacity for 189 passengers. The arrival of this new aircraft demanded more than 30 hours of operation; since it departed from the city of Sacheon (South Korea) to Chitose (Japan), with a stopover in Alaska; then touching San Antonio (USA) and making another stop at Guayaquil (Ecuador) to finally land at Ezeiza International Airport. The ferry flight was carried out by the company’s staff: a crew made up by 7 pilots and 2 mechanics.
This way, Flybondi completes its initial growth and investment plan where it sought to double its fleet, its offer and the number of passengers being carried. After a year of the announcement of its 2x Plan, the company has already announced it will incorporate two more aircraft before the end of the year; thus, going beyond the original plan to end 2022 with a total fleet of 12 aircraft. This increase in the capacity will allow to implement and reinforce the frequencies of domestic and international routes and also get ready for the Summer season. As regards next year, Flybondi announced that it will launch a search of at least 5 Boeing 737-800 aircraft to the leasing market to be incorporated during 2023.
During this last year, Flybondi incorporated more than 500 employees and generated more than 13,500 indirect positions throughout Argentina. Besides, it increased the frequencies of all its domestic and international routes. It also incorporated 4 domestic destinations: Ushuaia, Puerto Madryn, El Calafate and Comodoro Rivadavia, thus enlarging connectivity with the southern region of the country. At present the company already flies to 15 provinces, 17 domestic destinations and 2 international destinations.

The low-cost company has already carried 1,850,000 passengers in 2022, both within and outside the country. This way, the airline ratifies its foundational purpose: that more people may travel by plane in Argentina and in the region, through a safe service with low fees and international quality standards.
