Flybondi and SMBC Aviation Capital mark delivery of the airline’s first aircraft

Buenos Aires, December 5th 2017: Flybondi.com, Argentina’s first low cost airline today celebrates the delivery of its first aircraft from SMBC Aviation Capital, a B737-800. The aircraft with Manufacturers Serial number (MSN) 33821 was delivered in an all economy class configuration and is powered by CFM engines.

This is SMBC Aviation Capital’s first aircraft with Flybondi.com and is also SMBC Aviation Capital’s first aircraft to deliver into the Argentinian market. The aircraft recently underwent a modification program in Asia and delivered to Flybondi.com in November.

Flybondi.com, is a start-up, ultra-low cost airline with plans to start commercial operations in early January following the much anticipated deregulation of the Argentinian airline marketplace. This B737 will be employed on Flybondi.com’s first routes from Cordoba and El Palomar, Buenos Aires to Argentina’s main cities.
