Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, 2 April 2018 –Air Belgium, the new Belgian airliner, launches its online reservation platform on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 9 a.m. and announces its services today. Starting 30 April 2018, the company will offer direct flights to Hong Kong. In the summer, other Chinese destinations will be added. Tickets can be booked on airbelgium.com and will become available through the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) of travel agencies in the next few weeks.
Fully Belgian, reliable service and attractive pricing
Passengers can choose from economy, premium or business class with roundtrip fares starting respectively at EUR 449, EUR 999 and EUR 1,799, all-in.
On board of the Airbus A340, passengers will be immersed in a Belgian atmosphere, with a broad supply of Belgian products. In the economy and premium class, passengers have the choice between two menus and in business class three. Passengers also can enjoy a wide variety of movies or shop an extended selection of products. The multilingual crew speaks French, Dutch, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Four non-stop flights every week
Air Belgium offers four direct flights every week. An Airbus A340 will leave from Brussels South Airport to Hongkong International Airport on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, at 2 p.m and will land the following day at 7.30 a.m. local time. Return flights are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the morning and will land on Brussels South Airport at 6.15 p.m.
New business lounge
Premium and business class passengers are able to relax or work in a new, attractive lounge near by the airplane before their flight. As of early 2019, they will be welcomed in a brand new, dedicated premium terminal. Upon arrival in the secure parking area, premium and business travellers can continue to baggage drop-off, the security check and passport control and the comfortable lounge. Passengers who are in a hurry are able to board quickly, without any stress or queues.
