Finnair is set to resume passenger flights to the Japanese city of Osaka this Sunday, 26 March, after a one-year hiatus.

Flights from Helsinki to Kansai International Airport will initially operate three times per week, with flights departing Finland on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and returning from Japan on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Services will depart the Finnish capital at 17:45, arriving into Osaka at 12:35 the following afternoon. On the return, flights will leave Osaka at 22:25, arriving in Finnair’s Helsinki hub at 05:30 the following morning.

Customers can choose from Business Class and Economy Class onboard the Nordic airline’s state of the art A350s.

Those looking to jump back into Japan can enjoy return fares from London to Osaka from £877, including taxes and charges.

These services have been specifically timed to allow easy connections from Finnair’s destinations across the UK & Ireland - including London Heathrow, Manchester, Dublin, and Edinburgh.

Finnair also offers daily flights from Helsinki to Tokyo-Haneda and four weekly flights to Tokyo-Narita, giving a great range of options for travel to Japan.
