Fiji Airways to lease two A330s in 2018 as bridge to new widebodies
Fiji Airways plans to add two interim A330-200s in 2018, on 48-month leases, in order to give the carrier time to make a decision on which aircraft to purchase.
The carrier is mulling an order for either the A350 or B787, with the A330 lease serving as a bridge while the carrier awaits delivery of the aircraft once ordered.
The lessor of the A330s was not disclosed, nor was the timing of the new order.
