LOS ANGELES (September 4, 2019) – EVA Air will launch daily nonstop flights between Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in Central Vietnam on December 21, 2019. Combined with EVA’s current three flights a day to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and two daily to Hanoi, the new Da Nang service gives passengers easy access to three convenient and popular gateways in Vietnam. It also gives both business and leisure travelers more flexibility with their itineraries while morning TPE departures and early evening returns make connections easy for passengers traveling to/from all eight of EVA’s gateways in North America. Travelers can learn more about EVA’s services and book flights through travel agents or at www.evaair.com.
EVA plans to serve Da Nang with an Airbus A321-200 configured with 184 seats, eight in Business Class and 176 in Economy. Flight time from Taipei to Da Nang is 2:55 and the return is 2:45. EVA has conveniently scheduled its flights to depart TPE for DAD at 9:45 am every day except Thursday and Friday when it leaves at 9:55 am. It will return from DAD at 2:10 pm daily. Flight times may change seasonally.
Da Nang is a thriving economic hub in the center of Vietnam on the coast of the South China Sea at the mouth of the Han River and one of the largest cities in the country. Its airport is the country’s third busiest. With its busy port, bustling business community and steady growth, it’s an attractive destination for business travelers. At the same time, attractions such as beautiful beaches, excellent food, hotels for every budget, landmark Lady Buddha, remarkable Dragon Bridge and proximity to the imperial city of Hue, charming Hoi An with its UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town, the cluster of abandoned and ruined Hindu temples at My Son and more, Da Nang is an especially desirable gateway for leisure travelers.
