Etihad Engineering And Satair Sign Supply Agreement At Dubai Airshow 2019
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Etihad Engineering, the largest commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider in the Middle East, signed a supply agreement with Satair, one of the world’s largest aviation spares and solution providers. The signing ceremony took place at Dubai Airshow 2019 between Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Engineering and Bart Reijnen, Chief Executive Officer, Satair.
Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Engineering said: “We are happy to continue to build on our existing collaboration with Satair to better serve our customers. This agreement will help us enhance our supply chain function and facilitate parts availability for our customers from around the world.”
Bart Reijnen, Chief Executive Officer, Satair said: “We are thrilled to open this new chapter with Etihad Engineering and to support with a custom-tailored supply solution. With this new approach we further expand our footprint in the region and directly help our customers on site to keep spares availability at a maximum.”
The agreement covers supply chain solutions that will ensure worldwide availability for selected aircraft parts. While this signing marks the official agreement between Satair and Etihad Engineering, the business relationship between the two dates back more than 25 years.
