Engine Maintenance Service contract for Smartwings' Boeing 737NG and MAX fleets

-Extension of the existing comprehensive Engine Maintenance Services
contract for CFM56-7B
Smartwings and Lufthansa Technik have signed an agreement to support
the largest Czech airline with comprehensive Engine Maintenance
Services for LEAP-1B engines for its Boeing 737 MAX fleet. The first
induction is planned at the beginning of 2025. In addition, the
existing service contract for the CFM56-7B engines powering 30 of
Smartwings' Boeing 737NG aircraft has been extended until 2030.
Jiri Juran, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Smartwings, said:

Lufthansa Technik already provides Smartwings with Total Component
Support services for its Boeing 737NG and MAX 8 aircraft, including
component MRO services and pool access as well as component delivery
to selected international airports within Europe.
* LEAP engines are a product of CFM International, a 50/50 joint
company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.

licensed by CFM International.
