Dublin, 1st November 2021Dublin Aerospace (DAL), the aviation maintenance company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, today announced that William Flaherty has been appointed to the position of CEO of the Dublin Aerospace Group, with immediate effect. Being with the company since its inception, William will succeed Conor McCarthy, who resumes his position of Executive Chairman.

William joined Dublin Aerospace in 2009 as an Aircraft Mechanic and has progressed through every level since; to Check Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Head of Base Maintenance to General Manager - Dublin.

Commenting on the announcement, Conor McCarthy, Chairman and Outgoing CEO of Dublin Aerospace said: “It is with great pleasure that I announce the Board have appointed William Flaherty to the position of CEO of Dublin Aerospace Group, with immediate effect. William has won the absolute trust and confidence of our key customers and people alike and I have every confidence that we will continue to shine with William as our CEO.”

Earlier this month, Dublin Aerospace officially opened the doors to its state-of-the-art Landing Gear Facility, Meath, which specialises in Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 landing gear overhaul, with capacity for up to 350 overhauls per year.
