Dr. Laurence Vigeant-Langlois Joins AE Industrial Partners as Managing Director
BOCA RATON, FL—July 22, 2020 – AE Industrial Partners, LP (“AEI”), a private equity firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, Power Generation, and Specialty Industrial markets, announced today that Dr. Laurence Vigeant-Langlois has joined the firm as a Managing Director with a primary focus on portfolio management, new business development, and leasing. Her appointment is effective immediately.

Prior to joining AE Industrial, Dr. Vigeant-Langlois worked for GE Aviation as a Product Management Executive responsible for the Passport, CF34-3 and CF34-8C engines on Bombardier and Mitsubishi’s business and regional aircraft. Previously at GE, she played a key role in launching and growing GE Additive to become a leading force in industrial 3D printing, and also led the strategy and global marketing team supporting the sale of GE Aviation’s engines, systems and services across commercial, business and military aviation.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Vigeant-Langlois led commercial, product and engineering teams in aerospace and high-tech industries at such leading companies as Sikorsky Aircraft (now part of Lockheed Martin), CIT (now Avolon), and The Weather Company (part of IBM). She also worked as a commercial pilot transporting air freight on Learjets across North America.
Dr. Vigeant-Langlois holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, and an SM and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She serves as an advisor to Triangulate Labs LLC and is a trustee with iSPACE. She previously served on the boards of the International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA), Air Transportation Research International Forum (ATRIF) and the MIT Enterprise Forum.
