We are delighted to be able to announce that effective February 1st Lewis Sutherland has joined the team as Head of Asia for Deucalion based in Singapore. Lewis joins Deucalion with 15 years of aviation investment experience, the last 7 of which have been covering airlines, investors and lessors across the Asia Pacific. Lewis will succeed Jonathan Pierpoint who is returning to the UK to take up a senior post in Deucalion after six successful years in Singapore.  Lewis will join the Deucalion management team and be responsible for managing Deucalion’s strategy and activities in the Asia Pacific region

Lewis’s appointment is the latest in a series of important hires of leading industry talent in financial, credit, technical and commercial roles at Deucalion. Notably, Rick Boyes has recently joined us as senior vice president Commercial, based in our London office, to strengthen and broaden our first-class team. Rick joins us from a long and successful career at Virgin Atlantic which spanned across engineering and operational roles culminating in his final position as Head of Fleet, looking after all the airline’s aircraft and engine transactions. We look forward to Rick contributing his skills knowledge and airline experience to Deucalion.

As part of our continued expansion and further strengthening of the business, Deucalion is pleased to announce the formation of Deucalion Aviation Ireland Limited (“Deucalion Ireland”) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deucalion Aviation Limited. Deucalion Ireland is the third Deucalion Group entity to join the growing London and Singapore businesses. The formation of our Irish entity will allow us to provide services to a wider customer base and will employ the Deucalion technical team and EU based commercial and marketing staff.
